Geisinger Outpatient Services - Woodbine Lane
Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) now offers several of our most frequently used outpatient healthcare services at our Woodbine Lane facility. Conveniently located just off Rt. 11 in Danville, a few blocks away from GMC, Geisinger Woodbine Lane offers a patient-friendly alternative when it comes to outpatient services.
Patients who used to travel to GMC for these services had to look for parking and navigate their way through the hospital just for a quick appointment or same-day surgery. Now these services are available at our convenient Woodbine Lane location, which offers close in parking and each clinic is located on the ground level. Patients can walk straight up to the reception desk of the area where their appointment is scheduled. Services that are now located at Geisinger Woodbine include:
Geisinger Dermatology and MOHS Surgery Clinic
The Geisinger Dermatology MOHS Surgery Clinic provides comprehensive medical and surgical services for skin disorders. Special services include MOHS surgery, psoriasis treatment, laser therapy for vascular lesions and tattoo removal, contact dermatitis and patch testing center, pigmented lesions and melanoma clinic, broad wound care program with expertise in venous ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers. Geisinger Medical Center Outpatient Surgery Center
Today, more than 70% of surgical procedures are performed on an outpatient basis. With this in mind, Geisinger Medical Center now offers these services at our state-of-the-art outpatient surgery facility. Geisinger Interventional Pain Center
The staff at Geisinger’s Interventional Pain Center provides diagnosis and treatment of pain problems on an outpatient basis. Our staff is composed of physicians and physician assistants with training and experience in anesthesiology, rehabilitation medicine, and neurosurgery. Geisinger HealthSouth Outpatient Rehabilitation
The Geisinger Health South Rehabilitation staff offers on-site care, when arranged, for athletes who have been treated by the Geisinger Sports Medicine Department to coordinate rehabilitation and return to athletics as quickly as possible.
